Indian Railways special trains: In order to clear Holi rush, Railways has introduced special trains for Mata Vaishno Devi, Barauni and Darbhanga from here next week. Besides these three destinations, Railways will also run special train between Katihar and Ferozpur from March 17. Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi tri-weekly AC Suvidha Express will depart from Old Delhi station at 11.05 PM every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from March 19 to 31, (six trips) to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12.15 PM the next day. Indian Railways special trains: In the return direction, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - Delhi AC Suvidha Express will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 8.15 PM every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from March 20 to April 1 (6 trips) to reach Old Delhi station at 10.15 AM the next day. Comprising 12 AC-3 tier coaches, the AC Suvidha Express will have stoppages at Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations. (Reuters)
